SVST Kongunad Arts & Science College follows a structured admission process to ensure transparency and fairness in admitting students. Here’s a detailed outline of our admission procedure:
Application Form Acquisition
Prospective students can obtain the application form along with the Prospectus from the College Office.
Submission Deadline
The completed application forms must be submitted to the College Office within 10 working days from the declaration of the HSC (+2) Results. Applications submitted after this period will be considered as Late Applications.
Application Requirements
- The application form should be duly completed in all aspects. No column should be left blank.
- Photocopies (Xerox) of the application forms will not be accepted.
- Incomplete applications will not be considered for admissions.
Government Reservation Norms
The college adheres to the Government reservation norms in admitting candidates
Eligibility Criteria
At the time of admission, candidates must submit the following original documents:
- Mark sheets (X, XI & XII)
- Transfer Certificate
- Community Certificate (latest)
- Conduct Certificate
- Medical Certificate
- Passport size photos
- Attested photocopies of all certificates
Government Reservation Norms
Separate quotas are available for Physically Challenged, Sports (Priority for National Level and State Level), Tamil candidates from Andaman-Nicobar Islands, and Ex-Servicemen.
- Candidates opting for special quota reservation must provide sufficient proof in original.
Hostel Application
Students in need of hostel accommodation can apply through the Deputy Warden after general admission.
Cancellation Policy
The college reserves the right to cancel admission in case of any malpractice or disobedience found.
